Get the Look: Veronica Lodge from Riverdale

I thought I would actually bring you from the makeup artists themselves the exact products they have used to create Veronica Lodge’s look, so you can, too!!! 🙂

Veronica’s Signature Lip
During the first season of Riverdale, Veronica had worn Glossier’s Generation G lip colour in JAM, $20,, to create her signature berry pout. Side note: Generation G lip colour is cruelty free, vegan, paraben free, hypoallergenic, allergy tested, dermatologist tested.

For more of a darker lip, Camilla Mendes, the actress that plays Veronica Lodge, is said to wear CoverGirl Katy Kat Matte Lipstick in Maroon Meow, C$28.09,

Do you want perfect brows like Veronica Lodge?
Head of Riverdale’s makeup department, Erin Mackenzie, chatted to Refinery 29 about how they go about creating Veronica’s perfect brows.  According to Mackenzie, she never wants Veronica’s brows to be as dark as her actual hair, so she keeps the brows one to two shades lighter. She uses eyeshadow (not a brow powder!) to fill in the actress’ brows for a more natural finish. Mackenzie mixes water with the brown shadow to make her own version of a brow pomade. She then uses a brush like wet n wild Angled Liner Brush like to create Veronica’s signature eyebrows.

Last but not least, she finishes off the look with MAC’s Brow Set in Clear to make sure that the eyebrows stay in place all day.

Lastly, if you notice, she keeps her make-up quite natural, so the brows and lip are the main focus. For an evening look, you can see Veronica goes for a natural smokey eye paired with her berry lip. Her smokey eye at times, from my perspective, in the crease has a berry hue combined with a shade of a lighter brown on her lid.

Have fun re-creating Veronica Lodge’s make-up on Riverdale!!! 🙂
