DIY Egg White Face Mask for Dehydrated Skin & Anti-Aging Skin

I have been using this egg white and honey mask since I was a teen, before I even knew that is for anti-aging skin or dehydrated skin. At the time, dehydrated skin, wasn’t even considered as a skin condition, let alone did it even hit mainstream. It was thought that this mask was for dry skin, that lead to people with dry skin, complaining that it wasn’t doing anything for them.

Egg whites have astringent properties, making this protein, help to shrink pores by tightening the skin.  Egg whites absorbs excess oil, plus with it containing vitamins and minerals that benefit the skin by its overall appearance. As for honey, it hydrates, tightens pores; removes pimples, acne and blemishes due to it being anti-bacterial; full of anti-oxidents to slow down the aging process; it soothing and moisturizing, creating a radiance complexion and it gently exfoliates your skin. Exfoliating, not only removes dead skin, it also keeps wrinkles at bay.

Ingredients:
1 raw egg white
1 tablespoon of honey

Directions:
Mix the ingredients together in a bowl. Apply to a cleansed face. Leave it on for fifteen to twenty minutes. You’ll feel the egg white tightening, that’s when you know, you need to wash it off with warm water. I like to apply a moisturizer afterwards.
