Here I am again, on the lovely sunny day in Toronto. For the first time being in the city, I wasn’t lost. I don’t mind ever being lost in this fabulous, sophisticated, cosmopolitan city, however, I had to be somewhere by a certain time. No time for detours. Thankfully, I had abandon my GPS, from time to time, or a detour would occur, where I’m walking in circles. Oh dear.
My first stop of the day, was this lovely, traditional French bistro, that I had first gone to years ago for my birthday. It’s called Le Select Bistro, or Select. I like to make it to this restaurant at least once when I’m in the city, and to try everything on the menu, at least once. That particular morning called for Quiche Lorraine. This is the real deal. I mean it’s melt in your mouth, super-light quiche. I had learned how to make a quiche that is just like this. The traditional French way of making a quiche. There is a secret to the melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness. I’ll explain it all in another post. Stay tuned! 🙂
After I had ate a wonderful brunch, it was time for me to start making my way to the theatre. Many are surprised that a theatre goer like myself, had not seen this classic; Phantom of the Opera. Well, I’ve seen it now, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
What a lovely day!
